Dogs in nature really do not have behavior issues. They live in a
pack and know their place and are happy in whatever pack-order
may exist.  Just being part of “the pack” means life and security to
them.  Issues like territory (who owns and lives on what land) are
solved by lifting your leg on a bush to effectively say "I claim this as
my area" and so fights are resolved before they begin.
In the human world however, things are more complicated.  Not better or worse…just
different. Dogs will willingly adapt to anything as long as they feel secure.  If they do not feel
secure behavior issues will appear.

Issues such as…
  • chewing
  • excessive barking
  • house breaking
  • jumping
  • digging
  • possessive over food or things
  • aggression towards people or other animals
  • And more!

These issues are
NOT the real problem.
They are only symptoms of the real problem.

So what IS the problem? Well in its most simple form...the problem stems from poor
communication and leadership.  Learning to communicate with your dog in a way he/she can
understand and giving him/her the leadership they NEED to make them feel secure!  This will
make your dog, you, your family and the neighborhood feel better.

SECURITY = HARMONY
This harmony is what I aim for with each and every client.  My client is both the dog and all
humans that live in the home. The best news is no matter how bad your relationship with your
dog has been or for how long it can change!!

Behavior training is modified specifically to the needs of each client.  Please
contact me with your specific concerns and we will create a plan that is just right
for your family and budget.
